PERLANE®Perlane ® is an FDA approved injec able cosmetic dermal filler made from non-animal Hyaluronic acid gel. It has been used across the world in more than 70 countries.Perlane® is used for softening wrinkles and facial folds (such as nasolabial folds, worry lines, marionette and smoker’s lines), lip augmentation, facial/cheek depression and scarring. Other common uses of Perlane® include: chin augmentation, filling hollows under the eyes, acne scarring, creating a temporary eyebrow lift. The results of a Perlane® filler correction tend to last up to a year. Perlane® is primarily the same product as Restylane® , but it contains a larger concentration of Hyaluronic acid. Because of this higher concentration of Hyaluronic acid, Perlane® is intended for deeper injections; used for larger/deeper folds and is more expensive than Restylane® . Your doctor will help you to decide which product is best for you. Since Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and other tissue, there is no need for skin testing.
